Mark your calendars. On November 9 Church of the Redeemer in St. Paul, MN will be hosting a gathering of other Anglican churches from Minnesota and South Dakota for a seminar on early Christian approaches to the Bible. MinneRevive is an annual gathering of Anglican churches in our region for teaching and fellowship. Help us spread the word, and we hope that you are able to attend!
As we seek the renewal of our community we look for tangible ways to assist our neighbors who are in need. There are downed trees in the yards of older families who are unable to to this clean up on their own. We are putting together a team to assist these people this Saturday.
If you are new or would simply like to learn more about Church of the Resurrection, you are invited to Christopher and Meg’s house for an informal dinner and time to meet other new people. Dinner will be followed by a brief time in which we share a little of Church of the Resurrection story and answer any questions you have. Kids are welcome too. See you soon!

We are part of a much bigger movement of churches based in Wheaton, IL. They host an annual gathering called Revive which is an opportunity to gather for worship, learning, and fellowship.
Come away to Revive and encounter the healing power of God during gathered worship and prayer, hear from seasoned leaders at plenary and breakout sessions, and be strengthened for God’s calling on your life!
This year, we are focusing on the healing power of the Holy Spirit: in our own lives and families, in our churches, and in our communities.
On Saturday, October 20 we have an activity with our men’s group. We will go out to breakfast and then head to a gun range to get some shooting it. All events need silly names like this. We think. This will be a fun event for both advanced and novice sharpshooters.
Join us for a service event at the VA. God calls us to serve -- especially those who are marginalized. On this day we will spend time with veterans, joining them for a meal. To serve sometimes means to assign dignity to the ones we serve by giving them our time.
